Goblins and classical music. What more could you possibly need? I really like mischievous creatures and monsters. For this video, I invite you to pick up your own hobby supplies, make yourself comfortable and sketch, paint or craft with me. But I am not using words in this video. There is no talking, only music.
What to expect
My fantasy creature video starts off with a modest pencil sketch, continues on with ink liners, and finishes it with some final shading in Photoshop, that last step mainly to make the thumbnail more contrast-y and clickable. Too honest? Oh well. As for reference I used an unpainted goblin mini. I think it is a Goblin Swarm mini from Games Workshop, but feel free to correct me if this is wrong!
Them buggers
This goblin video is 100% voice-over free! That makes it suitable background entertainment, not only for sketchers, but writers and gamers as well. I added classical orchestra music to kindly accompany you throughout the entire video, but you can mute the sound without missing out on anything other than my attempt at editing this video to the music, which is something I really need to practice some more.
What I like about this video is that you can see me think with my hand. Usually I would remove the parts where I am hovering over my work while thinking. But I felt that keeping these parts in, would give a better representation of reality. Sketching and inking takes time!
Help out the channel
Like, subscribe and comment! It really helps me out. The better my videos are doing, the more time I get to spend on making them. Not only will this help improve my skills, it will also justify acquiring a better microphone (teehee). Ultimately leading up to better content that is worth your time & entertaining to watch.
Let me know how you feel about Goblins! And tell me if you want to see more sketching videos like this. It was such a pleasure to sketch these little dudes and I am more than happy to create more fantasy creature sketch-along videos like this. Thank you for your interest. It really means a lot.
Enjoy the goblins!
